WATER BATHS
SEM Water Baths are strongly constructed of zinc
coated steel finished in light cream enamel. The interior is made of stainless
steel with all welded joints. A perforated stainless steel tray covers
the elements and temperature sensors. The gable or pyramid type lid of
stainless steel is hinged at the back with bakelite knobs on each side
to allow easy opening with minimum risk of steam burning.
TEMPERATURE CONTROL
The temperature is controlled by a snap action thermostat
up to 100°C range with push button reset overheat protection. All
controls are mounted on the right hand side. Temperature stability is
typically ±0.3°C. A solid state indicator control can be fitted
for fine temperature control or reading. Digital PID controls have 0.1°C
resolution and temperature stability 0f ±0.2°C or better. The
Water Baths can be supplied without lid or with simple slide lid if required.
A number of options are available where stirred or recirculated baths
are required (price on application).
