MAGNETIC STIRRER HOTPLATES

Catalogue Numbers: MSH200 & MSH300

FEATURES
Heavy gauge mild steel body finished with polyester powder coating for durability. Solid aluminium hotplate combined with kaowool glassfibre insulation give rapid heatup, good temperature control, and minimal temperature variation or fluctuation. Stainless steel baffle and air space maintains body at a safe handling temperature.

The element is an incalloy type for easy replacement. Heating is controlled by a simmerstat with 0-10 knob for easy setting. Temperature range is from 50°C to 300°C. Temperature will drop slightly with stirrer on, and is dependent on load.

Available in two sizes
- 200 x 200mm (catalogue No. MSH200)
- 300 x 300mm (catalogue No. MSH300)

Choice of heavy duty/low speed stirrer (approximately 800 rpm) or light duty/high speed stirrer (approximately 2000 rpm). Maximum speed is dependant on follower size, fluid viscosity and volume.

SPECIFICATIONS
- Catalogue No. MSH200: 1000 W, 240 V, 50 Hz, 2000 rpm
- Catalogue No. MSH300: 1800 W, 240 V, 50 Hz, 800 rpm

OPTIONS
- Teflon Coated Hotplate
- Thermostat Control
- Light Duty/High Speed Stirrer (standard on MSH200)
- Heavy Duty/Low Speed Stirrer (standard on MSH300)

MAGNETIC STIRRER HOTPLATE DIGITAL CONTROL WITH EXTERNAL PROBE

Catalogue Numbers: MSH200D & MSH300D

Heating is controlled by a digital PID controller with external sensor probe for accurate control of liquid temperature. Temperature range is from ambient to 300°C. Stirring action is not affected by the probe as it is only 1.5mm in diameter.
An overtemp cutout restricts the maximum surface temperature of the hotplate to approx. 350°C. This will protect the unit from overheating in the event of the sensor not being positioned correctly.

Available in two sizes
- 200 x 200mm (catalogue No. MSH200D)
- 300 x 300mm (catalogue No. MSH300D)

Choice of heavy duty/low speed stirrer (approximately 800 rpm) or light duty/high speed stirrer (approximately 2000 rpm). Maximum speed is dependant on follower size, fluid viscosity and volume.

SPECIFICATIONS
- Catalogue No. MSH200: 1000 W, 240 V, 50 Hz, 2000 rpm
- Catalogue No. MSH300: 1800 W, 240 V, 50 Hz, 800 rpm

OPTIONS
- Teflon Coated Hotplate
- High Wattage Element
- Light Duty/High Speed Stirrer (standard on MSH200D)
- Heavy Duty/Low Speed Stirrer (standard on MSH300D)

MULTI-POSITION MAGNETIC STIRRER/HOTPLATE

FEATURES
Available as two position up to six position units, these hotplate stirrers feature individually controlled stirring and heating positions that let you perform different applications simultaneously. You can use units to stir only, heat only, or heat and stir at the same time. Strong Alnico bar magnets driven by ball bearing shaded pole motors provide reliable stirring action up to 2000 rpm. Speed control and heating dials have ten divisions for easy setting, and reproducibility.

The aluminium hotplate of 130mm diameter provides rapid heat up without fear of cracking due to thermal shock. Temperature control from around 70°C to 350°C is via energy regulator or thermostat control (optional). PTFE coated hotplates for chemical resistance are optional. The chassis of heavy gauge mild steel is finished in wedgewood blue polyester powder coating. Yellow, white or APO grey available on request.

Each hotplate has a built in rod support and removable 28cm stainless steel rod (8mm diameter). Support racks can be made to customer requirements if preferred.
